Southport Lions Club have partnered to supply the Colts with our bespoke O’Neil’s branded waterproof tops to be used during the warm up to games for the next three seasons.
Established in 1962 the Southport Lions Club support our community in Southport and surrounding areas. Lions share a core belief – to serve their community; with the main purpose to encourage service-minded people to serve their community without personal financial reward, and to encourage efficiency and promote high ethical standards in commerce, industry, professions, public works and private endeavours.
Southport RFC - Senior U18 Head Coach, James Cook thanked Southport Lions Club for their support of the Colts. "The support from the Southport Lions Club has been excellent" James added "The aim at colts’ rugby is to transition all the players into adult rugby, as ultimately, we want to keep players engaged in the game. Our player-centric approach to give our players the best coaching, kit and opportunities will hopefully allow us to achieve this and we extend our thanks to the Southport Lions Club for their part in the journey of so many young people at Southport RFC."
The waterproof tops will remain in the kit bag and will be used on match days for the players at Colts level for the next three seasons.
Thank you to the Southport Lions Club for their support of the Colts. We would again like to thank all our kit sponsors; EFT Group Ltd, Southport Market, Facilit8, Fletchers Group and DR&P Insurance who support the Colts and all teams at Southport RFC playing their part in providing our bespoke O’Neil’s branded kit to players.
Next up for the Colts is a home game against Crewe & Nantwich RUFC on Sunday 26th of February 2023. Kick Off is 2pm.
