We are thrilled to announce an exciting new initiative aimed at fostering the growth of junior girls' rugby across the Northwest! Fylde RFC, Preston Grasshoppers, Burnley, and Southport are coming together to form the NW Roses—a dynamic cluster designed to create a robust pathway for U12-U18 players to progress their rugby journey.

This collaboration is more than just a partnership — it's a commitment to nurturing the next generation of female rugby talent. By combining the resources, expertise, and passion of these four prestigious clubs, we aim to provide young players with unmatched opportunities for development, competition, and camaraderie.

Showcase Event: NW Roses Curtain Raiser at Fylde vs. Preston Grasshoppers

To celebrate the launch of this exciting cluster, we are proud to announce a special showcase event at the upcoming Fylde vs Preston Grasshoppers match!

Event Highlights:

NW Roses Curtain Raiser: Before and during halftime of the 1XV match, U12-U18 players from Fylde, Preston Grasshoppers, Burnley, and Southport will unite as the "NW Roses" to showcase their skills in front of a large audience. This is a fantastic opportunity for these young players to experience the thrill of playing on a big stage.

Guard of Honour: The NW Roses players will also form the guard of honour to welcome both teams onto the pitch for the 1XV match, adding to the excitement and prestige of the event.

Player Support: This event is kindly supported by the Fylde Rugby Foundation, which will be providing food for all participating players, ensuring they are well-fuelled and ready to perform at their best.

Why Join the NW Roses?

Expanded Opportunities: Players will have access to a broader range of training sessions, fixtures, and tournaments, ensuring they get the experience and exposure needed to excel in the sport.

Quality Coaching: Benefit from high-level coaching across all participating clubs, with shared knowledge and techniques that will elevate each player's skills and confidence.

Strong Community: Join a supportive network of players, coaches, and families who are dedicated to promoting girls' rugby and creating a welcoming, inclusive environment.
