Last Friday (5th October) members of the Board met with local residents to listen, discuss and share thoughts on the way forward to a constructive relationship.

As part of the recent licence amendment the local authority imposed a number of conditions including the need to set up a meeting with the local residents within 250 metres of the Club.

The Board decided to take the opportunity to broaden the agenda to discuss a range of subjects including current and future plans as well as how the club is run and the key areas we are concentrating on.

We received a whole range of observations and feedback on items we need to pay further attention to including making sure that members pay respect to the residents and their homes and families.

The meeting was conducted in a positive manner and we agreed to meet again in January to ensure that the relationship and communications continued to improve.
